Takeaways:
Taco Rico is now open in Tradition, filling a much-needed taco gap in the area.
The menu is big but approachable, featuring large tacos, burritos, bowls, and lunch combos—plus friendly, welcoming service.
The flavors are light and fresh, with ingredients like shredded cheese and iceberg lettuce. But heat lovers can spice it up at the sauce bar.
Locals are already fans, praising the food, service, and juice bar. With a 4.7-star rating on Google, it’s quickly becoming a community favorite.
Taco Rico just opened in Tradition. The Tex-Mex joint is a welcome addition to the community.
If you haven’t visited yet, go.
When you walk in, the staff immediately welcomes you. The menu offers a wide range of options, but you won't feel overwhelmed. You can take your time.
The tacos? They are twice the size of what you’d find at most places. Burritos, bowls, salads—they’ve got it all. Lunch specials are also available during the day, featuring combinations such as a burrito and a taco.

The food at Taco Rico
What I like about the food is that it tastes refreshing. The iceberg lettuce and shredded cheese add a light but comforting flavor to the meal.
If you're like me and can't always handle tacos overloaded with spice, these taste lighter and less greasy, but you can still turn up the heat with plenty of sauces at the bar.
After you order, a friendly team member hands you delicious tortilla chips. Here's one of the tacos I ordered:

After enjoying my snack, I stepped to the front to place another order.
What Port St. Lucie says
It’s not just me who likes the restaurant.
So far, the Tradition and PSL community love the spot.
With a 4.7-star rating on Google, customers praise the clean restaurant, service, and food. One guest, Troy Sanchez, shared his appreciation for the 3-taco combo: “I loved it! Also a great price for lunch!”
What you might miss, but can’t
Another underrated part of the Taco Rico menu is the fresh juices at the counter.
I tried both the maracuyá (passion fruit) and mango. They tasted natural, like thick néctar, and had the perfect balance of sweetness.
About Taco Rico

Taco Rico isn’t new. It’s a small franchise in the Miami area with locations in Brickell, Coral Gables, and Miami Beach. Thankfully, we didn’t need to wait for it to grow in Broward and Palm Beach first–it’s right in our backyards.
If you haven’t tried the restaurant, I highly recommend it–especially on a lazy Sunday with friends and a round of maracuyás.
